Meeting Saturday - Special EMP Presentation
Electromagnetic Pulse! Can Amateur Radio Survive?
Mark it on your calendar and plan to be there for this one! Tyler Costantini KBØPQP will be giving a presentation on EMP's and communications. This should be a very informative talk as we all know the power of the Sun and the potential for folks that mean to do harm to affect communications and beyond in America.
We will have our usual breakfast fare of egg casserole and donuts with all of the coffee we can drink! So plan to be there. Other topics will be possible projects and initial talks about Field Day 2016! Bring your latest project, or latest problem or both and we will admire and help where we can!
If you have never been to one of our meetings this would be a dandy! Everyone is welcome. If you have your license or if you are studying for it we would love to see you.

Coffee QSO
If you haven't made it to one of the coffee qso's then hopefully we will see you at one soon! The gathering has turned into a popular affair with lots of knowledge, humor, opinions and nonsense being passed around. We meet at the Spellbound Bookstore and Coffee every Wednesday from 9 am until usually around 11 am. We had 10 in attendance today so let's get that number up!
Thanks to those that attended, and we hope to see you all again soon!

Now THIS is an interesting way to call CQ DX! If any of you hear funny things on the air, record a video or audio recording of it and send them to me! We will post it up and we can all get some well needed laughs.

Welcome to the New SEKARC Officers
Please welcome the new SEKARC officers for 2016. During the January meeting the attending members voted to promote Jack Dock WDØCFH to President and move Joe Porter WØMQY to Vice Predident. Also elected was a new Secretary/Treasurer, Jeff Chancey KAØEGE.
A special thanks to Joe who lead the club as President beginning in 2014 through 2015. THANK YOU Joe.... job well done! We had a great turnout for the meeting but we room for a LOT more of you for sure. And thanks to Loren Chancey for serving in this position for 2 years as well!!
Be sure and make plans to attend the next meeting on Feb 27th as Tyler Costantini will be giving a presentation of a possible EMP and the affects of that on ham radio and communications in general. You do not want to miss this one.
