Meeting Update Jan 25, 2013

Southeast Kansas Amateur Radio Club met on January 25th. We had another great turnout for the meeting and a number of topics were discussed. Great company, great breakfast and great coffee! We were there until close to 11:00 so if you are worried about making it at 9 next time, no worries! Stop by anytime!


We agreed on the banner creation and donations were accepted for purchase and will work with the local vendor Jayhawk Signs and Graphics here in Pittsburg for the banner production. The banner will be 3' by 3' and will be in full color using the new logo! We hope to have it on hand for the next meeting on February 22nd.

Field Day 2014 which is June 28th and 29th and at this time we have at least 4 people that plan on camping at Big Brutus the weekend with 3 campers setup! Feel free to come along all day, or part of the day but make your plans for the weekend!

Loren, KDØRTX had her new Arduino kit on display and I think we may be seeing more of that and items like that in the meetings this year. Bill WBØLXZ had some ideas for her to try so stay tuned! I think everyone there had a good time and I know I look forward to the next meeting in a few weeks!
